HBM Aluminum magnetic top jaws with Rubber clamping surface for in the vice.

These aluminum magnetic top jaws are provided with rubber clamping surfaces in which grooves have been made. These grooves not only provide more grip, but also the possibility to clamp round or polygonal objects.

The magnets are milled into the rear of these jaws and consist of iron oxide magnetic strips (iron oxide powder mixed with rubber). . These magnetic strips have the advantage that they are not brittle or fragile (unlike rare-earth or neodymium magnets). As a result, these magnets can never lose small splinters, which can then end up between your machine clamp (or vice) and the top jaw, causing them to no longer connect properly.

The magnetic force of these iron oxide rubber strip magnets , is also such that the top jaws are properly pulled towards the clamp (or vice) without magnetizing your workpiece.

These magnetic top jaws are available in the following widths:
