The stylish TRH 28 E oil radiator combines modern design and intuitive operation with the requirements of an energy-saving heating system to heat rooms quickly and precisely to a preset desired temperature within a temperature range of 16 °C to 30 °C. - after just 8 minutes of heating up time in rooms up to 30 m² or 75 m³. The heat is radiated primarily via the internal heating surfaces, with the outer side edges having a lower surface temperature and can be touched.

Good to know: Radiators in the TRH-E series are equipped with proven heating fins, as this design guarantees a maximum heating surface with optimum heating output and effectiveness. The thermal oil used is an excellent storage medium for heat energy, so that you are pampered with a continuous heat output for up to 30 minutes even after the heater has been switched off. This saves on energy costs and makes using the mobile heater even more cost-effective. When you go to bed, simply set the desired running time of the radiator (1 to 24 hours). The heating switches off automatically after the preset time.

How does it work?
Simply preselect the desired temperature (16 to 30°C) via the user-friendly LED display - the thermostat control of the TRH 28 E takes over the temperature control. When the desired temperature is reached, the oil radiator switches off automatically. If the room temperature drops below the preset value, the radiator switches back on automatically and heats at the previously set heating level. In this way, the room temperature always remains at a pleasant level, the room does not overheat and you do not incur unnecessary energy costs.

This is how oil radiators provide effective heat
Oil radiators are designed for continuous use, as they can completely replace a central heating radiator. With their heating fins, oil radiators may look like a 'normal' heater, but they use electricity to heat the oil inside. The so-called thermal oil is heated by the current and releases the heat to the room air via the heating fins. Incidentally, oil radiators are usually equipped with heating fins, as they form a larger surface area, which makes heating very effective. Because the devices are mobile, they can be placed in any room exactly where heat is needed.

The operating principle of an oil radiator
Why is a radiator actually filled with oil and not with water? The reason for this is that water expands when heated and, moreover, cannot store heat as well. The thermal oil with which the radiators are filled has a relatively much higher storage capacity. Even if the oil radiator is switched off, it still gives off heat for a good half hour.

Because thermal oil is also a good insulator, heating resistors can be immersed directly in the oil, making the heat exchange even more effective. Weight also plays a role, because oil is lighter than water. This makes an oil radiator significantly lighter and portable.

Safety thanks to anti-tilt switch and overheating protection
Playing children, running pets or inattentive guests – nothing can make the TRH 28 E wobble. Stable feet with smooth-running castors guarantee a secure stand with maximum freedom of movement.
Should the radiator ever start to wobble due to external influences, the built-in tilt protection sensor switches off the heating device fully automatically. In addition, a safety thermostat prevents the operating temperature from being exceeded and thus overheating of the device – for example due to items of clothing placed on the radiator. In such situations, the overheating protection also ensures that the device is switched off immediately.
